In 1998, Lanka Rolls was founded in Matara, Sri Lanka, by Kandage Sriyalatha, a skilled chef renowned for her expertise in crafting authentic Sri Lankan rolls. Her dedication laid the foundation for a beloved culinary enterprise.

In 2000, the business took an exciting turn when Sriyalatha entrusted it to her brother-in-law, W.W. Nihal Ranjith, and her sister, Kandage Chandralatha. Together, they worked tirelessly to perfect the preparation of Sri Lankan rolls, ensuring each bite reflected the authentic flavors and traditions of their homeland.

Under Nihal’s visionary leadership and Chandralatha’s steadfast support, Lanka Rolls flourished. With efficient management and a commitment to quality, they transformed Lanka Rolls into a household name in Matara and beyond.
